Welcome Mkhize

As Chairman and founder at Mary Memela Foundation, Welcome Mkhize is responsible for the daily running of this organization. He is also responsible for the creation, communication and implementation of the organization's vision, mission and overall direction. He has a great deal of experience, as the former President of the Representative Council of Learners (2013), Chairperson of the South African Youth Centre for Climate Change (2016) and Spokesperson of the South African Youth Centre for Climate Change (2020). He is also studying towards a degree in Media and Cultural Studies and Political Science Studies.

As Co-founder at Mary Memela Foundation, Simthembile Cele is responsible for the creation, communication and implementation of the organization's vision and mission. She has a great deal of experience working with people as an environmental activist. She is also studying towards a degree in Environmental Management.

Scelo Dlamini

As Co-founder at Mary Memela Foundation, Scelo Dlamini is responsible for the creation, communication and implementation of the organization's vision and mission. He has a great deal of experience as the former Secretary of the South African Youth Centre for Climate Change (2016), and in financial management, with a degree in Accounting. He is also studying towards an honours degree.
